Hi everyone!

Will be visiting Osaka soon, understand there are a lot of model hobby shops in Osaka especially Den Den Town.
Any other good hobby shops in Osaka to recommend?
Prefer non-Gundams and R/C...

Thanks for reading...

Can't help you with Osaka, but if you have a lay-over in Tokyo, I can hook you up.

I thought the Tamiya Plamodel Factory was kind of disappointing, but it's kind of a must-do if you are a Tamiya fan. Yellow Submarine is good and there are a few others in the Akihabara area that you can locate by Googling 'Hobby Shop'

Possibly my favorite place for looking for kits is a place called Mandrake in the Nakano Sun Road shopping plaza. They deal in second-hand kits and they've got kinds of cool stuff. Worth checking out if you get there.

Osaka probably also has it's share of Hard-Off and Hobby-Off stores, which is another great place to look for kits and supplies. I found some great Easter eggs lurking in those places.

Mandarake is great. They have an online store too.

Another one would be Yodabashi Camera. They have chain stores in the major cities.

I didn't realize Mandarake is on-line too. I've always gone to the one in Nakano. There's a Mandarake store front for just about anything anyone could want--vintage vinyl, comic books, kewpie dolls, cosplay, you name it. and of course plastic models (there are actually two store fronts I know of that deal in kits--one is focused more on vintage and rarity kits.
