Im observing all campaigns here on HF and no matter what the subject of campaign is there are mostly male figures involved.

Who would be interested in painting some beautiful ladies?

Rules:
- Figure must portray a women.
- Any era, any universe but figure must be human or humanoid (i.e. it may be a elf, demon but it must be obvious that it is lady demon and it has to have human like shape).
- Any scale, busts allowed.
- Due to the subject and available figures I must add that mild nudity is absolutely allowed, but please keep the good taste and avoid pornographic subjects.
- Start September 1st, finish - ~February 28th.

What do you think? Who would participate?

I'll give it a go. I have an old Warriors figure that would fit nicely!

A thumbs up from me as well.

It will make a change from some of the over painted mail faces we see a lot of.

Female modelers and painters would be good company to have here, as well.

Good to see you with us Paul! Don't forget to enlist!

Rick, I agree with you in 100%! Problem is that Wendy Rafalski is probably quite busy with her baby and I don't see many other female modelers around here... that's a pity.
I'll try to contact Wendy - we could use her blessing here

By the way, what are your choices for this campaign?
I still haven't decided yet. I have three options:
Discworld Esmeralda Weatherwax (from Micro Art Studio)

Roman Matrona (from Pegaso)

and this Succubus (from Freebooter Miniatures)

I'll join with either a dio centered on this figure

Or I might just paint this one up

Dark Sword Miniatures has some phenomenal female subjects. Of note are the kits that are inspired by illustrators such as Larry Elmore, Keith Parkinson, and Easley...http://darkswordminiatures.com/

I know them... unfortunately they're hard to get in Poland and shipment from abroad is far more expensive than figures themselves... No me gusta...
I always liked this one:

I don't know if my skills are up to the task, but I need to learn how to paint female figures well and this is a good motivational tool. I really like that last figure posted as well.

The search begins....

I've had this kit in the stash probably close to a decade if not more, hopefully this campaign will encourage me to build it - scale is 1/12th.

Sasha the welder is really nice. Shapes of the figure are really feminine, without any exaggerations.

It's good to see that you are interested in this campaign.

I have different problem - still haven't decided which figure to choose...

Sasha the welder isn't exaggerated in the usual areas we normally see. I suspect though her height was sculpted beyond normal proportions, which for males is about 7 to 1 (1 = head height). Just a rough guess, but she looks close to 9 to 1. It still though is a great sculpt.

Jack

Thanks for the tip, Andrzej. I actually went through my WH40k stash and came up with this little group of angry girls

Sister Repentia and their mistress. They are all 28mm figures although the repentia are very slender and well proportioned so actually higher.

All girls in 40k are angry

Nice choice in figure.
