The Warsaw Uprising began on August 1st 1944. After few days of fights Poles took control over substantial areas of the city but thay needed support from outside the city. By Stalin's decision (Soviet dictator denied any help for fighting Warsaw although Red Army stood on the other side of Vistula River and did not allow British and American planes to refuel on Soviet airfields) Insurgents were left for certain detath. After 63 days of haevy fights Uprising ended.
On 67th anniversary of Uprising breakout ToRo Model added new kit to their Warsaw Uprising collection:
